About Us
Based on the South Coast at Hove, Routledge Financial was founded by financial adviser and rugby fanatic Michael Routledge to provide independent financial advice to individuals and businesses. Michael created the business to deliver a service that deploys 21st-century technology, yet is underpinned by traditional standards of expertise and integrity.
It is crucial for any financial plan to take account of longer-term needs, but it is equally important to cover the risks that can jeopardise a family’s current welfare, security and living standards. A serious accident or illness may interrupt or end earning capacity, but protection that includes life insurance and critical illness cover can help a family to cope.
Our approach at Routledge Financial is to listen, discuss and take on board your current circumstances. Then we aim to clarify your aims and aspirations before advising you on relevant investment, protection, mortgage and retirement planning issues. We set out to do this in a friendly and professional way and operate a transparent charging structure.
The value of investments and pensions and the income they produce can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you invested.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
Planning well ahead may be the ideal, particularly as regards retirement; but the reality is that sometimes people just do not focus on that until they reach 55, or perhaps a later retirement date. Routledge Financial is pleased to offer clients ‘at retirement’ advice to help them make the right choices now that pension freedoms have been introduced.
The full service we offer is a blend of these processes:
- Free-of-charge initial consultation centred upon your financial aims and needs.
- In-depth look at how your finances stand and where you would like to take them.
- Thorough research into strategies and products right for your agreed objectives.
- Detailed report on our conclusions, with suggested products to suit your needs.
- Efficient implementation of your plan, to put investments and policies in place.
- Subsequent periodic reviews so your plan can be revised if your life changes.
Michael understands the issues better than most. He not only has more than 25 years of professional financial experience but has also been putting that into practice as a married man with his own retirement to plan for and three children approaching that crucial stage in life where university and young adulthood beckon.
